Retreon's Telco Integration Platform (TIP) is designed specifically to address the challenging back-office integration issues presented by telecommunications carriers. It can interface to a variety of carriers' back-office systems including order entry/management, network data, number inventory/management, network provisioning and billing. It also supports several industry standard interfaces such as those required for both wireline and wireless number portability. The TIP provides carriers the ability to control the inter-operation of the interfaced systems via a process rule-driven workflow management approach. Implemented on a J2EE Application Server, the TIP can be deployed via the web, on a dedicated network or delivered for use internally by carriers. Retreon recently implemented TIP to help one of the nation's top 10 wireless carriers solve their number portability integration challenge. Deployed internally in the carrier's data center, the TIP integrates multiple internal back-office systems, an external wireless Inter-carrier Communication Process (ICP) gateway service provider, an external subscriber management and billing provider and the national Number Portability Administration Center (NPAC).
